  8. PrintManager v39 is a so called printer-spooler, it intercepts all printer.
  9. device calls to the parallel-/serial.device and saves the printer specific 
  10. raw data to a file. This way, programs sending data to the printer don't have 
  11. to wait for the slow printer to continue. PrintManager also gives you some 
  12. control over the data send to the printer. You can even print files directly 
  13. from inside PrintManager using the datatypes-system.

  15. FEATURES
  16.  ° caches only printer.device calls
  17.  ° can cache all calls to parallel-/serial.device
  18.  ° allows to exclude certain tasks from spooling
  19.  ° nice gui which works with proportional fonts 
  20.  ° files can be printed from inside Printmanager (uses datatypes.lib)
  21.  ° works with datatypes.library v45 (v45 recommend, not required!)
  22.  ° own FAST parallel.device (registered version only)
  23.  ° localized
  24.  ° after reset/crash unfinished printings are recovered
  25.  ° delayed printing
  26.  ° print count function
  27.  ° allows to redirect printing to another device

  30. REQUIREMENTS
  31.  any Amiga (compatible) computer with at least AmigaOS3.0 and (of course:-)
  32.  a printer.

  34. NOTE
  35.  Although this program is based on Printmanager 2.0 by Nicola Salmoria, 
  36.  no part of the Printmanager v39 code has been taken from Nicolas
  37.  version (it is a complete new program)!

  39. HISTORY SINCE LAST RELEASE
  40.  39.9b2    Fixed bugs in DELCOM and API. Moved menuitem "Project/Print ..." to
  41.     "Jobs". Renamed "Print once" to "Duplicate". New button to abort the
  42.     current print job. Function to send printer commands from within
  43.     printmanager. AUTOFF is a bit smarter now, it doesn't add a formfeed
  44.     if the job already has one at the end. New option: BUFFERSIZE.
